Rim-side Geology Talk:

Get hands-on with Grand Day Tours' mobile geology museum! Discover the secrets of the canyon’s formation through real rocks and fossils from the Paleozoic Era in a fun, interactive geology lesson right on the canyon’s edge. Learn how the canyon formed from our expert guides, all while taking in breathtaking views.

Desert View Drive:

After lunch, sit back and relax in our spacious, air-conditioned van as we cruise along Desert View Drive, one of the most scenic roads in the park. This rim-side route offers sweeping canyon vistas and plenty of breathtaking sights. As we wind through ponderosa pine forest, keep an eye out for elk and mule deer roaming freely in their natural habitat.

Afternoon on the East Rim:

While the South Rim boasts the deepest views, the East Rim offers the best views of the river and the most vibrant rock layers. Each stop is carefully selected for its beauty and story as your guide brings each vista to life.
