About your guide
Hello! My name is Keaton! I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Life Sciences and History. In 2017, I began working at Grand Canyon National Park, where I quickly fell in love with guiding.
Over the years, I’ve developed a style that blends geology, history, ecology, and storytelling into one seamless adventure. Beyond my formal education, I’ve experienced the Canyon in every way imaginable. Kayaking all 277 miles of the Colorado River, hiking every major trail, and exploring its viewpoints from every angle.
After nearly a decade guiding for other companies, I created Grand Day Tours with a simple goal: to offer tours that are personal, meaningful, and unforgettable. I believe a good guide doesn’t just show you the view, they help you see it.
When you travel with me, you’re getting more than a driver and a schedule. You’re getting a naturalist, historian, and local expert who’s passionate about the Canyon and about making sure your day here is the highlight of your trip.
